NightshadeSMP is a pure vanilla Minecraft server with a focus on relaxed, collaborative gameplay. We're a small, welcoming community that enjoys Minecraft the way it was meant to be played—no pay-to-win, no unnecessary plugins, just a respectful space to build, explore, and have fun together.

Grief Prevention

Anyone can use /ledger i to view block history and check interactions, ensuring nothing is griefed or stolen. Griefing can be rolledback fast by staff.

Proximity Chat

An optional mod that allows voice chat with nearby players, creating more immersive and natural in-game interactions.

Our rules are designed to create a positive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all players. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them.

Core Server Rules

No Griefing

Destroying or altering others' builds without permission is strictly prohibited.

No Stealing

Do not take items from others' chests or builds without consent.

No Hack Clients or X-Ray

We have systems in place to detect cheating. Don't embarrass yourself.

No PVP Unless Mutually Agreed Upon

PVP is only allowed if both parties consent.

No Excessive Swearing

Racism, sexism, and hate speech will result in an immediate ban.

Adhere to In-Game Signage

Respect areas marked as "Staff Only" or restricted.

Allowed Duped Items

Rails, carpet, and TNT are the only items that may be duped.

Don't Be Annoying

Avoid behavior that disrupts others' enjoyment of the game.

No Begging for Items

Be self-sufficient, especially if you are new.

No Pirated Versions

You must use a legitimate version of the game to connect to the server.

Minecraft is a global community with diverse values. Focus on enjoying the game together rather than debating beliefs.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Harassment or advocating violence will result in an immediate ban.

Building Guidelines

Spawn

Spawn Island is reserved for community projects only. Follow the guidelines provided in each project's book.
You are welcome to build a starter home on Spawn Island. Refer to the book you spawn next to for details.

Bases

Build wherever you like off of Spawn Island.
Ensure your base is at least 100 blocks from the nearest existing base unless agreed upon.

Nether

The community Nether highway is at Y level 100.
You may build farms on the Nether roof.

The End

You are allowed to respawn the Ender Dragon. The dragon cannot grief anything.
End chunks are occasionally pruned to regenerate End cities. Farms and builds are safe and will not be pruned.

By playing on Nightshade SMP, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to do so may result in warnings or bans at the discretion of the staff team.

Can I invite friends?

Yes, you can invite friends! Once you're whitelisted, your friends can apply separately, and we'll review their applications as well. Make sure they mention you referred them in their application.
